The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G has many positive aspects, but the company still has a ways to go before it truly becomes the flagship of this year’s smartphone lineup. OnePlus once revolutionized the smartphone market, and its latest phone is packed with impressive specs, but it falls short in some areas. Despite its promising specs, the OnePlus 10 Pro can’t compete with the best flagships, which is unfortunate given the oneplus 10 pro 5g abundance of high-end phones on the market today.
The OnePlus 10 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, one of the best on the market. OnePlus only released the 8GB RAM version in North America, but it will be available in 256GB later this year. Even with this low price, the Snapdragon 8-powered device has plenty of processing power for day-to-day use. Although the display is smaller than a standard smartphone, it is still a very impressive display for its price.
The battery life of the OnePlus 10 Pro is impressive, too. Its 5000mAh battery offers ample power for a day of use. It also boasts fast charging, which helps prolong battery life. And with its super-fast charger, the OnePlus 10 Pro can be recharged from 0% to 70 percent in 15 minutes. But keep in mind that the super-fast charger will eat up more battery life, so it is important to choose the charger wisely.
The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G will support the Verizon LTE network out of the box, and will hopefully be certified for the 5G network by the time it launches in the United States. AT&T and Verizon do not yet support 5G, but OnePlus is working with both carriers to get it certified for 5G. This means that AT&T and Verizon will not have to wait too long before they can start selling the OnePlus 10 Pro.
As for the looks, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is a solidly built phone with great hardware. The Volcanic Black color is reminiscent of glittery lava rocks. The Emerald Forest color is an unexpected option, but it looks just as gorgeous. And the back is glass – which is a bit slippery, but is not a fingerprint magnet. The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G has a fingerprint-resistant back and a notch on the top.
The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G features a 6.7-inch QHD+ display. Its 120-Hz refresh rate is good for watching movies and viewing videos, but it should be noted that it’s also adjustable to one-hundred percent for optimum brightness levels. The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, unlike the OnePlus 9 Pro, the fingerprint sensor is more accessible to the user.
If you’re a fan of OnePlus phones and want to take some great pictures, the OnePlus 10 Pro may be the phone for you. Its 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display is similar to the OnePlus 9 Pro. Moreover, it comes with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. A dual camera setup on the rear of the OnePlus 10 Pro includes a 48MP primary lens and an 8MP telephoto lens. Lastly, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G also has a 50MP Samsung JN1 front camera.
